Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love LEGOs! Building with LEGO-style bricks is a fun way to learn so many important STEM skills: following directions, planning, problem-solving, exploration of early math concepts, improving hand-eye coordination, teamwork, persistence, focus, and creativity.

Mini building sets are great incentives for our students to work for rewards that are both fun and educational.

We also plan to have a fall STEM enrichment class for building with LEGOs. To spark enthusiasm and introduce our new class, we would love to share themed wristbands, mini notebooks and pencils. Thank you to DonorsChoose for allowing us to share our educational needs and for your generous support providing our students with these wonderful learning materials!
