My students need these three Osmo coding games to complete their STEM centers! The mail shoots and tension rod will serve as a headphone storage to prevent damage.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The scholars in our second grade classroom all come from a very diverse background, both socioeconomically and culturally. Nearly all of the students come from a low-income household that cannot afford to purchase headphones and supplies throughout the entire year.
These young scholars come in every morning eager to learn in fun and exciting ways.
This class thrives on learning in new, fun and interesting ways! They really get the most out of learning when they can show off their knowledge in many different modalities.
My Project
The tension rod and mailbox shoots will be used to create a safe and sturdy headphones storage place. Without having a good place for headphone storage right now the headphones are being easily broken and teaching in a very low income neighborhood it is difficult for them to be replaced.
The influx of STEM and Coding into the classroom has made a major improvement in the scholars recent test scores.
The three coding games will be used to complete the scholars STEM learning center.
The six pairs of headphones with a microphones will be used to replace recently broken headphones. These headphones with a microphone play a crucial role in their every day lessons.
