Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we go through our different units, it is important to keep their favorite toys connected to the unit. They love building different things in blocks. The people and animals in our blocks center need to reflect what we see and explore in our curriculum. Legos are a popular choice in our classroom, and adding more variety to them helps our little minds see how it's possible to build any type of future for themselves.

My students have active brains and imaginations; they are constantly wanting to learn new things and get creative in their play.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
