Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning Spanish and need access to books that are written in a language they can understand. By creating a classroom library with shelves and a wide selection of comprehensible Spanish readers, I can give them daily opportunities to build confidence and fluency through independent reading.

These books are designed specifically for language learners—using high-frequency words, engaging storylines, and cultural themes that make Spanish feel real and accessible.

A classroom library will allow students to choose what they read, explore stories at their level, and develop a love of language learning.

With your support, my students will have a welcoming space to discover that they can read in Spanish. This library will be a lasting resource for hundreds of students for years to come.
