Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our preschool classroom, tiny feet run to circle time, little hands proudly carry books to the reading corner, and joyful giggles fill the room every single day. For our 2- and 3-year-olds, the classroom is more than just a place to learn — it is a second home where they build friendships, discover independence, and begin to see themselves as capable little learners.

Right now, many of our classroom furniture pieces have been loved for many years and are beginning to show it.

Our toy shelves are loose and broken, making it difficult to safely organize the materials the children use each day. Our tables and chairs no longer comfortably fit all of our students, leaving little learners squeezed together during meals, art activities, and learning experiences.

We are hoping to create a safer, cozier, and more functional classroom by providing our students with new chairs, a larger table where everyone can comfortably gather together, and sturdy furniture to organize toys and learning materials. At this age, children thrive in environments that feel calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared for them. Something as simple as a comfortable chair, a safe shelf, or enough space at the table can make a huge difference in their daily experience.

Every day in our classroom is filled with magical little moments — towers built together, paintings proudly held up to dry, tiny voices singing songs, and children learning how to share, help, and care for one another. Your support would help create a space where those moments can continue to grow.

By donating to our project, you are helping create a classroom where children feel safe, valued, comfortable, and excited to learn each day. Thank you for helping us build a warm and joyful environment for our littlest learners.
