My Project

My students are some of the most creative learners that I have ever met. I love watching them work together, learn, and have fun while doing it. I want to be able to provide as many fun options for my students as possible.

This project would benefit all three first-grade classes at my school.

We work really hard to create a community in first grade, and these materials would help students have more opportunities to work together. A lot of our students do not have access to fun, manipulatives that spark their learning. All of the materials that are on our wish list would help our students work together, be creative, have more options during free choice, and give an opportunity for collaborative learning.

Some of the items will also help our students have a place to relax and enjoy other materials. We are hoping to add some bean bags to our classroom to add more seating options for students while reading. Our kiddos also have a love for Legos. We are hoping to add more Legos and Magna Tiles.
