Help me give my students the opportunity to utilize STEM building materials that will allow them to use their creativity while stretching their nonverbal skill sets.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The use of these STEM building materials such as the LEGO Bricks and the Marble Run will allow my students the opportunity to engage in a variety of hands-on learning experiences. I am a gifted and talented teacher within a Title I elementary school. Most of my time is spent working to develop talents within these students. It will be through the use of the requested materials that many of my students will tap into their creative side and in turn be more engaged in their task.
The requested materials will help students who have identified nonverbal strengths.
These students thrive on shape and pattern manipulation and often love to engage in activities that allow them to think creatively and build 3-dimensional models.
