This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students come ill prepared for cold weather. We have had several coats donated for those in need but sometimes my kiddos need a bit more. A nice, snug fitting cap can make a world of a difference in keeping the students warm. Socks that cover ankles are a surprising missing component to most of my students wardrobes and I don't have any students that own a pair of gloves. My kids definitely can use assistance in keeping the heat in and cold out.

Cozy items will help us stay healthy and will set students up for success in the classroom.
