BROKEN Desks, Please Help.

Help me give my students an area to join the teachers for a one on one time to build a relationship with the teacher. Currently our teacher desks are falling apart and it is really sad.

My Students

My students always brings a smile to my face. All I want in return is to make my students smile too. Majority of my students are African American from low income households in our Special Education classroom. I have students with down syndrome, sensory disorder, and ADHD. They deserve to enter a classroom that matches or exceeds their level of enthusiasm, colorful imaginations and their individual characters.

My Project

We need a safe area for the teachers and children. The desk and chairs for the three teachers in the classroom will get a space to put all their personal belonging and will be able to have an area to have one on one time with each student. The aesthetics of the desk and size will help us create our dream classroom which is in the works. We currently want our students to see that they can be in a room that has materials and working furniture that are in great condition because they deserve it and that their environment matters.
