Our students use iPads daily for communication, interactive learning and skill-building activities and having durable cases has allowed us to keep these important tools safe and accessible. Because many of my students have fine motor and coordination challenges, accidents can happen easily. The protective cases have provided peace of mind, ensuring that the iPads remain in good condition and available for consistent use. This stability has allowed students to focus more on their learning without the worry of damaging equipment.\r\n\r\nBeyond protection, the cases have supported greater independence for my students. The sturdy designs make the iPads easier to grip, carry, and use at their desks or on the floor, giving children the confidence to engage with technology on their own. The increased independence has boosted participation in lessons and encouraged students to take more ownership of their learning. Your generous donation has helped create a safer, more engaging learning environment where every child can access the tools they need to succeed. We are deeply grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1742952566436,"projectUrl":"project/lets-cover-our-ipads/9046992/","projectTitle":"Let's Cover Our iPads","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bragg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5599157_orig.jpg?crop=720,720,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1567970976407","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5599157"},{"teacherId":24554,"projectId":9201448,"letterContent":"I am so grateful that my grant for Scholastic's Let's Find Out Magazines was funded. Thank you very much. These magazine are a wonderful addition to my social studies and science curriculum. I love them because they have bold colors, rich vocabulary and topics that are interesting to children. My students love them and they learn so much about the world from them.\r\n\r\nIt is so important for my class to have the Scholastic Let's Find out Magazines because each student gets his or her own copy to take home. The students have a chance to share their learning with their families. Also, they keep their copies and read and reread them, which improves their reading ability. Also, they are interactive. They have activities that encourage students to share their learning. \r\n\r\nFinally, science and social studies are areas where my curriculum is developing and I need supplemental resources like Let's Find Out Magazines to help me provide students with science and social studies content. They cover topics such as animals, plants, presidents, holidays and rules. I find them very useful. If it weren't for this donation, my students would be missing out on so much! Oohs and Aahhs were heard throughout the room! My first graders are using the easel pads every day! They are very excited to have more paper to write their thoughts on. At the easel, they write about what we learn in class. For instance, in February, they wrote about activists and other important historical figures. Students have also been using the easel paper to draw pictures, which are displayed in our classroom. The next thing they will do with the easel paper is create posters to use in our mock protest. Students have already started to brainstorm causes that they would like to fight for. Next, they make a poster to illustrate their cause. The folders have really come in handy as well! The students are using the list of words on the back during writing. They are organizing their work in the pockets of the folders. They are also, standing the folder up on their desk for privacy. We call it our office! We are so grateful for the easel paper and the folders.
