Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is in need of a reliable color printer to bring learning to life. With this resource, I will be able to create:

- Visual anchor charts and posters that reinforce key skills in reading, writing, and math

- Graphic organizers that help students organize their thinking in a clear, structured way

- Differentiated text sets and printable books to provide multiple reading levels on the same topic

- Student work displays that highlight growth and celebrate achievements in vibrant color

Color makes learning more engaging and accessible, especially for students who struggle with attention, reading comprehension, or abstract concepts. Instead of plain black-and-white pages, students will be able to interact with colorful visuals that spark interest and support memory.

MEET OUR STUDENTS:

Many of my students require scaffolds and supports to be successful. A color printer will allow me to create materials that are more visually enticing and easier to understand, supporting both general education and special education students in our inclusive classroom. From math problem-solving mats to reading comprehension guides, the possibilities are endless.

By funding this project, you are helping to provide my students with tools that make learning accessible, motivating, and fun.

WHAT WE NEED:

1. 1 Color Printer (reliable, classroom-friendly model)

2. Ink/toner refills and paper to sustain its use throughout the year

THE IMPACT:

Your support will help students:

- Engage more deeply with content through visual learning tools

- Access appropriately leveled texts that build confidence and fluency

- Feel motivated and proud when their work is displayed in color

- Strengthen organization, comprehension, and critical thinking skills

Together, we can make our classroom a place where every student feels supported, inspired, and excited to learn!
