Bring History Alive

Help me give my students a chance to engage in history, even when they are in quarantine and don't have access to a computer ,and I need to print things for them.

My Students

My middle grade students are at an age where being engaged is critical to education. They are on the cusp of teenage-hood and struggling to adapt to all these new changes life has thrown at them while surviving a pandemic. They want to succeed and be great, and they can!

They are learning to thrive in this changing and challenging time, and need a few small things in the classroom to help aide them in their quest for success!

My Project

With these resources I will have the ability to help students have materials printed in color, which will engage students and help them understand and see history in a different way. Especially when I have a large population who do not have access to the internet and computers at home. In this case, when they are absent due to quarantine, I want to be able to provide the materials that others are getting online.

I love bringing history alive, and color helps achieve this for students.

Nothing brings history alive like primary sources such as art, video, and sound clips. It would be so helpful to have headphones for my students so they can listen to video and audio of primary and secondary sources throughout history.
