One moment that stood out was seeing students who previously hesitated to run or jump now fully engaged in drills and moving confidently around the gym. Having proper athletic shoes has helped students feel safer and more prepared to participate in class activities. Not only has it benefited my students, but it has benefited other classes as well. A few students from a body conditioning class needed shoes to run the pacer test and were able to borrow some to use.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the shoes, they were very excited and thankful. One of the students said they fit great and were very comfortable to wear. It was clear that having appropriate footwear helped them feel more included and ready to participate alongside their classmates. \r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using the shoes throughout upcoming units such as volleyball, soccer, and our fitness activities. These resources will allow more students to participate consistently and focus on building their skills, teamwork, and confidence in physical activity.
