My Project

My K–2 special education students are enthusiastic learners who thrive in a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged to take risks in their learning. They learn best through a combination of visual supports, hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and repeated opportunities to practice and reinforce new skills. Many of my students benefit from individualized instruction, positive reinforcement, and consistent routines that help them build confidence and develop independence.

Every student deserves to learn in a classroom where their strengths are recognized, their successes are celebrated, and they feel a true sense of belonging.

By recognizing both big achievements and small milestones, I help students develop a positive self-image and a growth mindset. Meaningful opportunities for success encourage them to stay engaged, persevere through challenges, and take pride in their progress. Through a supportive learning environment, strong relationships, and engaging educational experiences, my goal is to foster confidence, independence, social-emotional growth, and a lifelong love of learning in every student.

To help create these meaningful displays, I am requesting bulletin board paper, borders, letters, sentence strips, and other display materials. These resources will allow me to showcase student work, celebrate achievements, reinforce learning, and create an inviting classroom environment throughout the school year.
