This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is filled with an incredible group of second-graders who love to share.

In light of the current situation, I want to ensure that we are only sharing materials and not germs.

To achieve this, I believe that investing in an air purifier for our classroom can immensely contribute to creating a healthier, more comfortable, and conducive learning environment for everyone involved.

Improved Air Quality: An air purifier helps to filter out dust, pollen, pet dander, and other airborne particles that can trigger allergies or respiratory issues. With cleaner air, students and teachers can breathe more easily, reducing the chances of discomfort or health problems.

Reduced Spread of Illness: Air purifiers can also capture bacteria, viruses, and other germs that circulate in the air. By removing these contaminants, the purifier can help reduce the spread of illnesses like colds and flu among students and staff, creating a healthier learning environment.

Enhanced Focus and Concentration: Cleaner air means fewer distractions from allergy symptoms or stuffy noses, allowing students to focus better on their lessons and activities. Improved air quality can contribute to better cognitive function and overall classroom productivity.
