This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are in Title One school district where most students do not receive substantial meals. For the specialized career courses they take in preparation for a future in the workforce, they are learning during 3 hour courses with a short break.

Students most days have not had breakfast or lunch.

Often the meals that they have aren’t enough fuel to support brain power and the physical demands of the sports medicine labs they must complete. Many do not have extra money to buy snacks to help themselves. Please help. Thanks.
