Brain Break Activities!

Help me give my students Rubik's cubes that we will use as brain breaks for students that are needing a moment away from our academic learning.

My Project

Rubik's Cubes have become a class favorite for my students who are needing or wanting to take daily breaks. Instead of giving my students slime, modeling clay, or other fidget toys, I have my students grab Rubik's Cubes out of a container for them to try and solve. Students need breaks each day and while breaks are happening, I want my students engaged in an academic way. With these Rubik's Cubes, students will be allowed to take breaks when feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or other feelings that are distracting them from their work. Students are allowed to take a break, and can participate with various Rubik's Cubes. Students understand that works takes priority over anything else and have used these cubes to better support their learning.
