Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach third grade, and my students are hardworking, eager to learn, and love school. Each one of them has a unique gift that brings so much joy to their peers. My students are made up of mostly low-income, economically disadvantaged children. Almost half of our students speak Spanish, with English as their second language. We have students ranging from Kindergarten to fifth grade. We have the largest population of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch in our district.

Due to COVID, our normal looks so different!

My kids deserve the best, and I want to make sure I can give them the best education possible! As we find our new normal, our students are thriving daily and conquering everything we ask of them.

My Project

This bounce house will be an incredible asset to our school. Every kid will get to benefit from this amazing play bounce house.

We would love to use this for school wide Tribe Time Rallies.

This is where kids are rewarded for good behavior for each six weeks. We can also use this bounce house for field day, class work motivation and rewards, brain breaks, and free time. Most of our school is low income so this is something most of them do not get to experience outside of the school. It would be incredible to add one of these to our school for all kids to have fun with.
