Bots & Bytes: Hands-on Coding Robots and AP CS Books

Help me give my students a 10-pack of Edison robots to bring coding to life with physical computing and AP Computer Science Principles review books to provide practice tests and strategies for their exam.

My Project

My AP Computer Science Principles and Intro to Computer Science students are learning to think like engineers and problem solvers. With a 10-pack of Edison educational robots, students will practice real programming to write algorithms, use sensors, test, and debug in a fun, physical way. The AP CSP review books will give my test-takers clear strategies, content review, and practice tests so they feel confident and prepared for the AP exam.

These resources let me run small-group stations and pair-programming so every student codes, builds, and tests, not just watches.

The robots make abstract ideas (loops, conditionals, events) visible, while the books support structured study, targeted review, and equitable access to high-quality prep.

Your gift equips my classroom with:

- 10 Edison robots for block- and text-based coding, sensors, and iterative design.

- 5 AP CSP prep books for checkout, study groups, and after-school review.

Together, these tools will help all of my students, from first-time coders to AP test-takers, gain confidence, master core CS concepts, and open doors to future STEM opportunities.

Thank you for investing in their curiosity, skills, and success!
