Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, energetic learners who thrive when they can explore science through hands‑on investigation. They learn best when they can test ideas, collect data, and see real‑world results unfold right in front of them. Foam gliders will help them explore gravity, air resistance, trajectory, and landing stability as they design, launch, measure, and refine their flights. These activities give students the chance to think like engineers, collaborate with classmates, and build confidence through experimentation.

A digital microscope will deepen their STEM learning by allowing them to observe details they cannot see with the naked eye, strengthening their ability to analyze evidence and make scientific claims.

A classroom printer will ensure students can quickly access lab sheets, data tables, project instructions, and reflection materials, removing barriers that slow down inquiry. With these tools, students will experience science in a way that feels exciting, meaningful, and empowering.
