My Project

My third graders are curious, hardworking students who are learning to become confident readers. At this important stage in their education, reading fluency is the key that unlocks comprehension, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Many of my students are still developing the ability to read smoothly, recognize words quickly, and understand what they read.

With the right resources, my students can strengthen their reading fluency and build the confidence they need to succeed in all subjects.

This project will provide engaging materials that allow students to practice reading regularly through partner reading, repeated reading, and small-group instruction. These tools will help students hear fluent reading, practice at their own level, and celebrate their progress as readers.

When students become fluent readers, they begin to see themselves as successful learners. Their confidence grows, they participate more in class discussions, and they start to enjoy reading both in school and at home.

Your support will help my third graders develop stronger reading skills, build confidence, and discover the joy of reading. With your help, these young learners will gain the tools they need to become successful readers and lifelong learners.
