My Students
My learners are a diverse group of elementary students receiving targeted instruction to catch up to their peers reading at grade level. These readers benefit from every opportunity to nurture their growing literacy skills, build community, and to experience success.
Literacy is empowerment!
With the goal of future leaders in mind, my intention is supporting confident, engaged and capable readers. To do that, I try my best to expand and diversify my working knowledge, as well as hone my professional teaching skills.
My Project
Readers deserve a clean, safe, organized library! My elementary kiddos need a comfortable place to work, learn, and perchance to dream, within the pages of our classroom books.
Treat your shelf!
With your generous help, new and sturdy shelves will allow my students to better peruse books to enjoy in our classroom library. Currently, our library books endure undue wear and tear as result of our transient, and more makeshift library accommodations.
The ask: I am hoping for three bookshelves to corral and tame our unwieldy collection of books. This would allow students better access to new texts they might not have seen before. Improved exposure to new materials would encourage my readers to continue growing in their reading appreciation, skills and development!
