My Students

My classroom is made up of a diverse group of students who are creative, kind, and have a desire to learn. At our Title I school, 100% of our students receive free breakfast, lunch, and a government-provided​ healthy snack. I want to provide my students with the tools and environment necessary to find success as we return to full time in-person learning.

My Project

Many of the book titles and sets in this project have been requested by students to help expand our library collection. My class enjoys a variety genres, especially graphic novels with fantasy and sports themes. Adding books to our classroom library will keep students engaged in reading.

Students need books that spark their interest and also help them to learn about the diversity of people who have contributed to our world.

Each book provides a daily opportunity for my students to improve their reading skills and grow in their love of reading!
