This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students this year have completely revitalized my love for teaching. They are compassionate, funny, endearing, and eager to learn. Throughout this year, I have worked hard to help my students learn to love reading, and so many of them have become readers!
In order to keep my students excited about reading, my bookshelf must be full of interesting stories that they want to read about, and I need your help to make this happen. I am humbly asking for your help in order to share my love of reading with my students. If they become life-long readers, they will increase their academic success and their opportunities for the future. Research has shown the importance of reading 20 pages a day, which means my students go through many books each week in order to reach this goal. I truly appreciate any help that can be given!
