However, due to limited space, I share this area with two incredible occupational therapists. At any given time, there may be three groups of students learning in the same room. Over the course of the school year, both the students and I have adapted to this arrangement, but it can still present challenges.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contributions, we were able to purchase a room divider, and even though it has only been in place for a short time, it has already made a noticeable difference. While it doesn't completely block sound, it provides much-needed separation between groups, allowing students to better focus during our math instruction. For the students visiting occupational therapy, the divider creates a calmer, less distracting environment in which they can work.\r\n\r\nYour support truly enhances the learning environment for every student who comes through our doors. It's more than just a divider—it's a tool that helps students concentrate, feel comfortable, and succeed. You continue to believe in my vision and help me bring it to life, and that means the world to me.\r\nAt first glance, a table might not seem like a big deal, but this one will truly make a difference. Our new kidney table will transform the way I work with students during small group instruction. Right now, we're using a large rectangular table, which makes it tricky to see everyone's work and give feedback in real time. With this new setup, I'll be able to sit at the center, connect with each student, and better support their learning as they work.\r\nAlthough I'm currently working mainly with sixth and seventh graders, this table will give me the flexibility to work with any grade level comfortably. Each student will have the space they need to focus and learn without feeling crowded.\r\nToday was our first day with our new table and the students and myself were so impressed with the sheer size of the table. There was more than enough space for 7 seventh graders to sit and work comfortably around the table. Nobody was sitting on top of each other like with our previous table. I was able to easily see all students while they worked out math problems on their whiteboards, and provide corrective feedback to all in the moment, rather than waiting until we go over the problem.\r\nMy goal has always been to provide my students with the same opportunities I would want for my own children. Many of the worksheets are picture-based and include math vocabulary, making them accessible and meaningful for diverse learners, including those who benefit from visual supports.\r\nHaving reliable, skill-based resources readily available allows me to effectively meet the varying needs of my students.
