My goal for my students is that everyone of my students make a year's worth of growth in reading. Children are resilient beings and they have already shown so much growth and are aiming to grow even more! One of the main components of our reading curriculum is guided reading. In guided reading my students receive individualized instruction at their reading level. The supplies listed in this project were all picked with helping my students grow as readers in mind. The supplies range from phonic games to sight word activities. For example the sight word flash cards will allow me to drill my students in guided reading on the words they struggle to recognize. It will also give my students the opportunity review their sight words on their own.Those and the other supplies will allow me to make guided reading engaging and tier my lessons even more towards my students’ needs. The games listed on my list will make learning more fun! Please help me and my reading students grow as readers. You won’t regret it!!
