Providing my students with new chairs will make a huge difference in my classroom. Many of the chairs we currently have are broken and completely uncomfortable for the children. Most of the chairs the students sit on are cracked and covered with duck tape. They are also all different sizes. Some students have trouble working comfortably at their desks due to the chair being too high or too low. The bottoms of the chairs are broken and scratching up the floor as well. As a teacher, I feel the need to provide them with the most comfortable, warm and inviting environment that I can. I amrequesting 30 new chairs!
