My Project

Every day, our school library serves as a sanctuary of discovery and comfort for our students. Last year, many of our most well-loved books were checked out and, sadly, did not return.

The challenges of last year were profound for our urban teens in Saint Paul, MN.

Our school proudly serves a highly diverse student population. In spite of chaos the families we serve faced, our teens were reading library books. Hundreds of books went home in backpacks and due to increased mobility, many of those books never made it back to our library. In our community, an unreturned book is never a sign of disrespect, but rather a reflection of the complex real-world hardships our children face.

This campaign is to purchase replacement books for our collection. We want to replace the books lost last year and offer full series and a wonderful collection to all of our students. This is the 2nd half of a campaign to replace all the missing books.

Your generous donation will directly put replacement titles back on our shelves, ensuring our young readers always have access to full book series and inspiring stories.

Together, we can ensure that every student continues to have access to the magic of reading. Thank you for your support!
