My Project

I am a 7th and 8th grade English teacher at a Title 1 school.

I am looking to supply my class with more books and manga that my students will actually read.

It is difficult to get the manga (Japanese graphic novels) they like, especially the full sets. I want to encourage reading and foster a love of literature by giving students access to the genres and topics they enjoy.

Sure, we have some of these books, but they are missing many volumes in between. You can find books 1, 2, 6, 11, 22, 23, and 30 of a manga series. They are missing the story elements because of those gaps between them though.
