Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of excitement for learning. They love to learn through movement, songs, exploration, and hands-on experiments and materials. Students in my class are valued, and we promote a learning environment where students learn to value each other.

Many of my students are English language learners and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

However, this is not an obstacle to success in our classroom. We build a classroom community where all students can learn, succeed, and celebrate each others' strengths.

My Project

My students love books and are loving to learn how to read. They work hard each day to learn phonics, sight words, fluency, and more.

I would love to reward my students for good behavior or for working hard and meeting a learning goal with a fun, new engaging easy reader book as another way to promote literacy in my classroom.

What a great way for students to make the connection that learning these important literacy skills will pay off when they can choose a book to take home and read!
