My Students

I love my students and I want to help them be successful. My students like to move around a lot and socialize with their peers. They are natural leaders. They enjoy learning. My students all have different levels of learning and all learn at a different pace.

When given the correct books, my students will read for days.

My students enjoy drawing and writing stories. They love science experiments and are critical thinkers. They try to help each other to follow the rules. They enjoy playing outside with their friends. They strive to be successful at school.

My Project

Students love to read when they are given a book that they are interested in. I seek to collect books for my classroom library that the students will love! I want my students to have books easily available to them.

I plan on using some of the books for a research project later this year.

My students will research a famous American and create a report about them. These books will offer information that students can gather for their reports. They will gather information from different sources (these books being some of those sources) and integrate the information into their informative writing projects. These books are highly engaging and contain a lot of information that students will understand. With these books, I will be able to integrate social studies, reading, and writing into one unit. With the coronavirus happening, a lot of students' growth in reading has been impacted. I want to have engaging books in my library for students to read and grow from.

The basic writing and storage supplies will also help our classroom be more organized and thus help it run smoother. Being in the classroom and learning together, we go through a lot of supplies. These basic supplies will help us to continue to learn.
