Bookbags for Success!

Help me give my students bookbags, water bottles, folders, and pencils to keep them organized and supported throughout the school year.

My Project

Often students lack the basics as they come to school each day, especially during the second semester. Sometimes their bookbag breaks and they are not able to afford another one for the second half of the school year. Students run out of pencils and folders get ripped by the middle of the year. Unfortunately, many students can't afford to replenish their supplies mid-way through the school year.

A bookbag packed with supplies makes success all that much easier to attain as teens attend their classes throughout the day.

A water bottle keeps them hydrated, alert, and refreshed as they learn new healthy habits in school. My goal is to have a supply of bookbags available to students who need one, filled with supplies that will support them and make them feel special.

Our students are special because they come from many walks of life, yet come together each school day to collaborate, learn, and strive towards a better future. They often travel long distances, taking trains and buses to get to school in order to earn their diplomas. They remain hopeful in spite of the many obstacles they have to overcome in life.
