My Project

Our students are required to complete two book projects each quarter to participate in the quarterly incentives. The glue sticks, poster board in a variety of dimensions, and the markers will give my students the materials needed to complete the book projects.

When students complete the reading of the book, they do a project on the book they read in order to qualify for the incentive.

My students have a variety of choices on the type of project they would like to complete: flap posters, posters, dioramas, book booklet, and slide presentations. The majority of my students choose the poster and the poster with flaps, which require the poster board.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
