Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Research shows that many adults with disabilities work less than 20 hours a week. This leaves individuals with more free time than others. It is my goal to introduce and develop hobbies and interests to engage my students.

It is important for me and the families that I work with to have their students develop interests and engage with others to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Many of my students struggle to develop interests or hobbies, or often only focus on one.

With the implementation of different board games and puzzles, I would like for my students to develop interests and hobbies alongside their peers.
