They've been diving into the new yarns and new color options. Our supplies often rely on donations from people \"de-stashing\" their collections. While we are always grateful for the kindness, it does mean we have limited selection. For them to have new options in more modern colors or better textures has been amazing.\r\n\r\nFor our first project, students decided to have a Secret Santa holiday exchange! Students made a list of their favorite colors, any small items they would love to receive, and some of their favorite TV shows, books, and so on for inspiration. They then drew names and got to work! I am always so amazed at the incredible things that they make. They go above and beyond anything that I have taught them or that I can even make myself. This is one of my favorite parts about being the Yarn Club sponsor. Thank you so much for helping them on their journey. The materials made a day that is usually very long and boring into a day where there was joy and excitement. Your donation made a positive impact on my classroom. \r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they saw the snow globes sitting out when they walked into the room. They were also amazed that we could use chemistry to make the snow to go inside. When the crystals started to form their eyes lit up.
