My Project

I remember loving board games as a child and playing with friends or family, on camping trips, or after homework on school nights. It was really meaningful and special when someone would spend time with me over a board game.

So much learning occurs, too: social skills(sharing, taking turns, waiting, learning how to be a good loser/winner/sportsmanship), math skills (adding, subtracting, colors, shapes, matching), fine motor skills (manipulating pieces), language, and spatial awareness, too.

There is so much that can be gained from playing a simple board game. It also boosts and grows relationships between teacher and students, and students to peers.

Your kind and generous donation would give my classroom of developing learners access to all of this! Many of our games at the center have been used with love and care, but are missing pieces, damaged, or are not age appropriate. Thank you, for considering my project!
