This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Please help me to continue the upward growth of my class in reading. They are enthusiastic readers, and LOVE BOOKS! I want to send books home for them and their family members to read at their leisure. When they request books to read, I know I have them hooked!

Some of my kids have made a year to two years growth towards their reading goals.

They are proud of themselves, as well they should be. A large majority of our students are displaced, and live their lives as transient little people every day of their young lives. Books have become a staple in their lives. Books are comforting to say the least. Thank you for your continued support of our quest to put books in the hands of all of our students.
