My Students

My students are entering middle school and are on a quest to discover the different realms of earth science. They are from a rural school in Northeast Georgia. They are full of energy and life. My sixth graders enjoy hands-on activities, where they get to put action behind their learning.

Many of my students love science, and I don't want this love to fade.

My students need supplies to make their learning take flight. With new resources, students will be met at a variety of modalities, in order to reach higher order thinking and learning.

My Project

These materials will help students to think outside the box as they problem solve to win the game. Students are able to learn by doing a hands on activity. This is a fun way for students to learn the STEM design process all through a game.

Blocks Rock is an awesome way for students to creatively problem solve while building teamwork skills.

Students are given a variety of structures to build with blocks. It helps them to learn how to read diagrams and build things. They also compete using teams, so they must work together in order to win the game.
