Black History: Because They Did, We Can!

Help me give my students the costumes needed to put on a Black History Month play that was written by me. They love learning about their culture and want to share with others. They're working so hard!

My Project

My students deserve the opportunity to not only learn about their culture, but share their findings with the everyone. These amazing students have been eagerly researching important African American Figures and are ready to show what they know.

Ive had the privilege of writing and directing a Black History Month play that has been showcased by my students for the past 6 years in my predominantly black elementary school.

I've always taught kindergarten and first grade, however this year I am teaching fifth grade. For that reason, I am in need of all new costumes for the production.

Please help my students and my school by donating funds to purchase new costumes. My students will remember these gifts as they wow their families and classmates with their knowledge and acting. Thank you so much for your support.
