My Project

Our school is consistently getting new students as more and more families move into the surrounding neighborhoods. Many of these families speak Spanish, and we unfortunately do not have many Spanish books in our current library collection. As we continue to get more students, I would love to have more Spanish books for all age ranges in our collection. We have slowly begun adding more, but the cost of books adds up, and it is difficult to build this section of the collection quickly. This project will help us get over 100 books to add to our Spanish collection and help all of our new students have books that represent them and that they can read in their native language.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
