Bilingual Books for Our Lending Library

Help me give my students bilingual books in the languages of our classroom to include Spanish, Haitian Creole and Portuguese.

My Project

Every Wednesday we do Lending Library. This is our classroom library of books that children can check out and bring home for one week. The students love checking out books and bringing them home to read with their families. While we have some books in English and some in Spanish, most of them are not bilingual. Additionally we have families this year that speak Portuguese and Haitian Creole. Additionally, I am requesting wordless books to add to our library that all families can enjoy equally.

Many of our families are very busy and can't get to the public library, this helps families have a rotation of new books at home and increases the home to school connection.
