My Project

Our district is currently in financial watch and there are no finances to provide students with much more than the bare minimum, students are thrilled when they receive tokens of appreciation. I would like to celebrate students who have been making great choices throughout the year and also continue to cultivate school-wide pride.

School pride is an essential ingredient to a successful Junior High community.

Especially during the teenage years, students desire to find strong connections. A simple way to help students feel like part of a bigger whole is to share in celebrations and create opportunities to have pride in their school. Students have had the opportunity to win small “Spartan Standard” tokens of appreciation throughout the year. The small prizes have been a hit!

The materials requested provide students the opportunity to win from a variety of larger prizes during our celebration of good choices they have made throughout the year. These donations will also allow me to make Spartan water bottles and t-shirts to add to the mix.
