This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Against all odds, my students show up to school happy and eager to learn each and every day. My school offers free lunch to over 85% of the students. I have anywhere between 22-24 students who love being with their teachers and classmates. My students want to feel successful and proud, and it is my responsibility to ensure they have the tools they need to reach these objectives. The worst feeling a teacher can have is not being able to execute a fantastic lesson due to lack of materials. My students deserve better and with your help, their dreams are possible.

My Project

Each day my students are eager to learn. One obstacle I face daily is squeezing out every minute of the day to use trying to teach as much as I can.

Being organized allows us to not waste precious time getting all of our materials together.

Each student has a bag of small manipulative to use for exciting math and phonics lessons. This Bin Storage will help us keep our materials organized and at our finger tips, this in turn will save time each day so we can get right to learning and end those days of wasting time gathering materials .
