Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher at a Title I school, my students deserve all the materials they need in order to thrive and be successful at school. With these resources, my students will not only be organized with their assignments, but they will also be provided with the basic necessities that they may not be able to use at home like folders, tissues, notebooks, etc.

Throughout the school year, my class has been low on basic materials that should be in the classroom.

For example, we have been scarce on tissues which results in using the paper towels in the bathroom. My students also tend to misplace the important papers that are given to them for which a simple folder would relive that trouble for them.

Lastly, a printer would benefit them and I greatly due to the many issues in the workroom currently! With the convenience of a printer, the students will be able to receive the worksheets/assignments they deserve at the proper time during class.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
