Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a wonderful group of First Graders that work so hard. They are in a Dual Language program and what makes them so special is that they learn two languages! They learn English and Spanish. Many of these students are Non-native Spanish speakers so they have to put in extra effort to learn both languages. The materials I have chosen for this project will help me to create a space that is warm and inviting by being able to display and hang up their student work. I am also trying to build Literacy stations so there are some materials that will facilitate that goal as well, along with some art materials to supplement the classroom.
