I have the honor and privilege of working with a beautiful group of students between the ages of 18 and 21. My students, who happen to have profound cognitive and physical disabilities, attend a separate school due to the severity of their needs. My students are within two to three years of graduating and are beginning the process of transitioning to the workforce! My students are hilarious, hardworking, and sweet.
Our students focus on learning from a functional curriculum.
Most of our students come from low-income families. Despite the challenges our students face, they are very energetic, enthusiastic, and kind-spirited kids.
My Project
My students need beautiful and motivational artwork to decorate our classroom. Art work by famous artist, Bansky, is thoroughly enjoyed by students and staff within our school. The messages behind his art work are about perseverance and being positive in difficult situations.
We all need reminders to keep going when things get tough.
Most of us especially feel that now due to the ongoing pandemic. I would like to decorate my classroom with some modern day art work so that students are able to have a more positive outlook on life. Thank you for your consideration.
