My Project

My scholars will have the opportunity to Get Water Smart! Learning how to stay safe in the water is important for my scholars so they can be confident, responsible, and enjoy water activities in our flood prone community.

The swim caps, towels and bags will enable all scholars to feel confident and comfortable while participating in their water safety lessons.

I want to make sure everyone has the same opportunity to learn water safety skills, and I know that sometimes taking the plunge can be worrisome. I want to ensure every scholar can put their worries away and focus on the life saving skills they will be learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
