Help me give my students books they've been battling over to create voracious readers and to interact in endless conversations about reading.

My Project

My middle schoolers have been battling with each other to get their hands on these books. They cannot stop talking about them! Their conversations are endless. They are thirsting for these humorous, action-packed, and dialogue-filled books. They treasure these popular books and enjoy talking about them with their peers. They want books with likable characters, and they love series books. By knowing my students' interests and likes I will get them motivated and interested in reading more and more. These books are suitable for their age and interest. These stories will inspire a love for reading and will encourage my students' habit of reading.

When my students share books and stories with other children, it helps their learning, development, language and communication.

Not only do children learn vital skills for later reading and writing, but sharing books also helps with talking, listening, and communication skills. It keeps alive the child's desire to read and encourages the child's habit of reading. Talking about books and reading has many educational benefits, such as enhanced imagination to help visualize spoken words, improved vocabulary, and more refined communication skills.

Having conversations about books can open a window into a child’s world, his/her perceptions, his/her fears, and their hopes. It is also an opportunity to share some of your own feelings. I love talking about books with my students, too! It is so enjoyable to talk about and share things you enjoy with other people. Sharing thoughts and insights about a book can lead to interesting conversations and deepen your understanding of the material. It's a great way to connect with others and broaden your perspective. Plus, discussing books with friends can also help you discover new books to read.
