Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are all wonderful! They range in learning abilities. Having multiple pairs of headphones would be beneficial throughout the day in my classroom.

Our classroom has many diverse students with Autism, ADD/ADHD, sensory deficits, multiple disabilities, and speech and language impairments.

In my room, I use differentiated technology in all core subjects, which means every child is learning math, reading, and writing at their own level. This is an amazing opportunity, but it also creates a rather loud learning environment. Imagine 12 pieces of technology talking at the same time in one room. We also need USB adapters since many of the headphones do not work if they are not plugged into a USB port.

My students often use white boards to solve math problems. They are a lot more engaged when they use them. Because we use them so often, we go through many dry erase markers and erasers.

Having tissues and erasers which are used every day are also essential to our classroom.
