My Project

I teach at a rural school in the mountains of Western North Carolina. My sixth-grade math class is a place of collaboration, challenge, and learning.

I teach 80 highly energetic and inquisitive students who are eager and enthusiastic to learn.

I believe in each one of my students. I know they can all be successful with the right tools being provided.

These pencils, pens, and paper allow all of my students access to the basic materials needed for learning. The candy and other fun incentives give me the possibility to offer rewards to my students.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
